Vocation · Caster · Pale Silver head

The class that reads before it acts.

Stiff Smoke Blue folded cloth over a carved Bone yoke at the clavicle — the defining silhouette. Drawn from observatory orders and cliffside lookouts.

Origin

Sentinel

Sentinel is Emberline's Caster Vocation. Its material heritage is folded cloth and carved bone — stiff Smoke Blue mantles that fall from a Bone yoke at the shoulders, hands and forearms left bare so the Lineage chest glow reads through the wrist. Cool Pale Silver light at the crown. The Bone arc across the collar is the cue you read from a thousand paces: a Sentinel is on the field.

Culturally, Sentinels come from observatories, cliffside lookouts, and the ritual orders that watch the sky. They are the Motes most likely to track a moon phase on their own without checking a calendar, to mark a ruin portal's activation time before anyone else notices a change, to keep a record of what crossed a horizon. A Sentinel's calling is attention. The abilities follow from there.
